Road trip - Kuantan 2008
We had the opportunity to go for a road trip with a group of car enthusiast last weekend. Our destination was Awana Kijal Resort a short distant away from Kuantan town. We had a great trip, nice scenery and good company. Here are some shorts taken during the trip to share with you, enjoy. :-0

Michelle's birthday celebration 2008
For Mich's birthday, the family went on an excursion to our all time favourite Japanese restaurant, Shimizu @ the PSA Building. Although the food was a little lacking in its usual standard, the atmosphere was great and we had a great time!

Dive trip - Pulau Tioman
After months and months of deliberation, we decided to take the plunge! Literally, of course! And signed up for the NAUI Scuba Diver's certification. In this gallery, you will find a collection of pictures that were taken during our trip to Tioman Island, Malaysia, where we had to take our final theory exam and practical. :-)

Exploring Tokyo 2008 - Harajuku
Harajuku is an area between Shinjuku and Shibuya. Local landmarks include the headquarters of NHK, Meiji Shrine, and Yoyogi Park. It is also known internationally for its youth style and fashion. Harajuku street style is promoted internationally, most famously in the Harajuku Girls in Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B.

Exploring Tokyo 2008 - Odaiba
Odaiba is a large artificial island in Tokyo Bay, Japan, across the Rainbow Bridge from central Tokyo. It was initially built for defensive purposes in the 1800s, dramatically expanded during the late 20th century as a seaport district, and has developed since the 1990s as a major commercial, residential and leisure area.

Exploring Tokyo 2008 - Super Autobacs
We made it a point to visit the Super Autobacs while we were in Tokyo. The nearest branch was in Odaiba, a huge amusement zone where one can enjoy shopping, delicious food, entertainment and a beautiful view of the Tokyo Bay all at the same time. :-)

Exploring Tokyo 2008 - Ginza
Nissan Motor Company Limited shortened to Nissan is a multinational automaker headquartered in Japan. It formerly marketed vehicles under the "Datsun" brand name and is one of the largest car manufacturers. The company's main offices are located in the Ginza area of Chuo, Tokyo. We heard that they were going to move to Yokohama in a couple of years and felt lucky to be able to visit their showrooms before they started moving.

Tsukiji fish market is the biggest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world and also one of the largest wholesale food markets of any kind. The market is located in Tsukiji in central Tokyo, and is a major attraction for foreign visitors.

Exploring Tokyo 2008 - Shinjuku
Shinjuku is a major city, housing the busiest train station in the world (Shinjuku Station) and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Surrounding the train station are department stores, specialist electronic and camera shops, cinemas, restaurants and bars.
