The new iPod arrives!

Noise Ninja for Mac
Noise is a fact of life in digital imaging. Digital cameras can be virtually noiseless at low ISOs. But once the ISO gets to 400 and above noise starts to creep in. Not necessarily terrible noise, sort of like the way film used to look, and not the clean essentially grainless look that quality digital images display.
At the high ISO settings required for indoor photography and fast-action sports, noise can be so acute that it makes an image look like sandpaper. Even "clean" images shot at low ISO may reveal noise when enlarged.

Good News!
Here's a piece of good news that we would like to share! Fred has won 4th placing in Photoi magazine's "The Best Photographer of the Year 2004, Round 6 - Portraits" His portrait of darling Michelle was selected by the panel and was awarded fourth placing. This is the first time Fred participated in a photo competition and was glad to be selected as one of the winners.
