Touareg driven by a Mac?
The game is simple, drive a car from point A to point B in the shortest time possible. The difficult part is getting to the destination without a driver on board, while traveling on a desert track littered with unknown obstacles. The 2005 DARPA Grand Challenge race for autonomous ground vehicles saw Team Banzai utilising a VW Touareg, Mac OS X and Mac Mini as their technology foundation. Do check out this page for more information.

Moving on...
For most of us who stay on an island (whom people call a little red dot) from the day we were born, it is just another boring place that we just couldn't wait to get away from. The weather is hot, the cost of living is rising and there are many reasons that one can come out with to make this place sounds un-livable.
But for a close friend of ours who made this place his home for the past eight years and it is a place that he finds hard to leave behind. Yes, we're taking about someone who has travelled the world over, set foot here and decided to settle down and make this place his home. To him, there was no other place on earth which could offer a better living environment than here.Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances meant that he has to move to a new place and settle there instead.
We wish him and his family all the best and hope that they'll be able to settle down quickly and welcome their new baby very soon. :-0

iTunes 5.0
Gone is the brushed metal look..... Yeah! iTunes has just been updated to version 5.0. With this update came a brand-new look which is streamlined, support for the new Motorola ROKR E1 handphone and other minor enhancements.
iPod nano but no iPhone
There's no iPhone..... sigh! During the Apple Special Event which has just ended, Steve Jobs presented the latest release of its very successful Digital Music player to a hall packed with an enthusiastic audience. Spotting a slim package, colour screen and 2GB or 4GB storage capacity, the iPod nano looks really cool.
The thing is... there is nothing *NEW* with this addition IMHO. Yes, the player is much slimmer, colour LCD is beautiful and the use of flash memory is an excellent choice. But I'm looking forward to something that is more innovative, like a slick mobile phone that beats all other mobile phone in the market in terms of design and feature. I guess we may not get an iPhone after all.
