Appreciating Nature?
I have grown more sickened by the acts of Nature photographers in recent. All these comparisons of camera equipment, to how close one can get to a subject, to the number of rare birds you can get on your CF card, to how exclusive your subject may be, even to the number of birds one shoots in a day.
Why can't we just appreciate Nature as she is and enjoy her photographs in its' beauty? Do we need to get involved in all these meaningless competitions and politics to enjoy bird photographs and the technical aspects of the photos?
Nature knows no politics nor ego nor pride. So boosting all of the above ain't going to get you anywhere except being a social sore.
*shakes head*

Nikon View 6.2.7
