Aperture tutorials
Learning to use Aperture can be quite challenging without guidance. To help alleviate the learning curve, Apple has created a series of very useful tips and tutorials to guide new users along.
We found these tutorials to be very informative and they really speeds up the learning curve. You should also take a look at these tutorials if you want to jumpstart your usage of Aperture.

Toast Titanium 7.1.2
The software was updated to resolves issues on saving projects on Intel Mac, resolves crashes encoding MPEG video files and some other minor fixes.

BTV 5.4.1
BTV 5.4.1 allows our Mac to capture video footages from the iSight camera. The software is pretty dated by today's standard, but it works. :-P

GST rising!
A shocking news for many indeed! On the front page news today, was the report on the impending rise of our GST to 7%. Lets keep our fingers crossed for the offset package that will be announced in Feb next year to help us cushion the raise. ;-)

2006 G4 Challenge clips
The Land Rover G4 Challenge offers men and women from 18 nations the opportunity to match strategy, stamina and skill in an awesome 4x4 driving and multi-sport challenge. Working in bi-national teams, competitors are matched against each other across four consecutive stages spanning Southeast Asia and South America.
We've been notified by a friend that clips for the 2006 G4 challenge have been uploaded on YouTube.com. There are a total of 8 clips with really long durations. Do be very VERY patient when downloading them. Head on down to YouTube and search for "G4 challenge" and you'll find them.

A really nice case for hw6960
I was surfing the web when I suddenly recalled the Vaja case I purchased for my iPod some time back and decided to surf over to their website to check whether they have a case for the HP hw6960 smartphone.
I was overjoyed to find out that there were so many different designs available for the phone; maybe I'll get myself one someday. :-P

The Singapore Motorshow 2006
The biennial Singapore Motorshow will be back from 10-19 November 2006 to dazzle the crowds with an exciting display of automobile launches, concept cars and adrenaline- pumping stunt performances all held at the Suntec Convention centre.
We managed to catch a sneak preview of the Motorshow yesterday and the photos will be up soon! ;-)
Missing Sync for Windows Mobile 3.0

Power Mac G5 Power Supply Issues
Apparently, there is a Power Supply issue with some Power Mac G5 systems. The problem lies with a specific component failure within the computer's power supply; the exact component that failed was not mentioned by Apple. If you're wondering whether your Power Mac G5 is affected, do check out this page. Luckily, my Power Mac G5 was not affected.
