GIAC DSG transmission software for MK V

Hot on the heels of HPA Motorsports, GIAC has also released its DSG transmission software for the VW Golf Mk V platform. The software program should also be compatible with Audi TTs among many other Audi models. What the software does is that it allows the DSG to shift much smoother, rev higher and transfer more torque to the wheels. Programming is done via the OBDII port, and will work with ECU tuned by other tuning companies. Do check out GIAC's website for more details.

Great broadband package

We noticed a current Starhub broadband promotion that is of good value and went with it. The monthly subscription for 8 mbps home broadband (maxonline) connection cost <$60, and it comes with free mobile broadband (maxmobile 1 mbps). Not only that, we also receive a free digital home phone line through the free voice-enable cable modem. The only extra we need to pay is for the SIM card that is installed on the free Huawei mobile broadband modem. We're not sure how long this promotion will last, or will there be an even better promotion in future. But, this package provides good value for money in our opinion.

Mouse and keyboard sharing

Have you even wanted to take control of the portable Mac sitting beside your LCD (connected to your desktop Mac) or any other Macs nearby with the mouse and keyboard that is in your hand? With Teleport, now you can. The software application allows users to control multiple Macs with a single mouse and keyboard. The way it work is similar to KVM, minus the M. Meaning you are essentially sharing a mouse and keyboard, less monitor. One caveat is that the Macs will need to be on a local network for this to work.
